Marangu is the only route which offers communal sleeping huts. Many favor this route because it is considered to be the easiest path, given its gradual slope. The route has the least scenic variety because the ascent and descent are done on the same path and can be busy at times. This is a great option during the rainy season (Nov., March–May).
